Tahini Oatmeal Cinnamon Raisin Cookies

A twist on a traditional oatmeal raisin cookie!

Are you sick of my cookie recipes yet? I hope not because I have the ULTIMATE cinnamon raisin cookie recipe coming your way. I just recently started experimenting with tahini in baked goods and there’s no turning back now, I have been putting it in EVERYTHING! The taste and texture that it adds to cookies, especially, is indescribable and I can’t get enough. The recipe that I am about to share with you here is similar to my Choco-coco Tahini Oat Cookies, but the flavors are very different! So lets get to it!

What you will need for this recipe…

  • 1 cup oat flour (I used Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 egg replacer (using Bob’s Red Mill Egg Replacer)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats (I used Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life)
Do you spy the hidden cookies?!

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine the oat flour, tahini, maple syrup, chocolate chips, raisins, oats, and cinnamon.
  2. Place the bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes to chill.
  3. While you’re waiting prepare the egg replacer and preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Remove the bowl and mix in the baking soda, and egg replacer. Mix well.
  5. Scoop and roll the dough into balls and place onto the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 12 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven & let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
  8. ENJOY!

I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as I did! This one was so much fun for me to create as I have been loving experimenting with tahini in my baked goods!
