Chocolate Maple Granola

A chocolatey, crunchy treat, great for topping for and sweet dish!

Happy hump day, everyone! I have another fun and super yummy granola recipe for you if you couldn’t have already guessed, my dad ran out of granola (LOL). Yesterday I was on a cooking spree, and when I say spree, I really mean it. I cooked up about 5 different recipes to create some content for you guys & of course my Instagram page as well. When I get on a roll in the kitchen, sometimes it’s hard for me to stop. I still have a lot more ideas in my head that I need to get out so there’s going to be a lot coming your way in the next few weeks. BUT for now, lets focus on this crunchy chocolate deliciousness!

What you will need…

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup roughly chopped almonds
  • 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3/4-1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour (or almond flour)
  • 3/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat your oven to about 300-350F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Combine the first 5 ingredients into a bowl and set aside. Mix the last 3 ingredients in another bowl or just pour right onto the mixture and mix well.
  3. Spread the granola mixture onto the baking sheet evenly and place in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven, stir and place in the oven for another 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and DO NOT STIR. Let cool completely so that chunks can form. Place into container and store.

I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as we do here in my household! If you try this out leave a comment below and make sure to tag me in your creations on Instagram and Facebook @eatnaturalwithnat! Talk to you soon!
