Cinnamon Toast Donuts

My favorite cereal in donut form!

Happy Saturday! I am still obsessing over how well these donuts turned out. For a while I have been trying to find a donut pan so I could attempt some of these bad boys and the day is finally here 😍 I get a little nervous trying new things in the kitchen because I’m a perfectionist and I always want things to turn out perfectly on the first try & thats exactly what happened here (thank goodness)!

I’m so excited to share this recipe with you all I can’t even explain! I’m even more excited to try and see what other kinds I can come up with! Next time I’m going to do some more fun – possibly spring-y flavors 🤗

What you will need…

For the donuts:

1 “egg” using Bob’s Red Mill egg replacer
1 cup Bob’s Red Mill Unbleached All Purpose Flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 cup coconut sugar
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup coconut milk (or other plant milk)
2 tbsp melted unrefined coconut oil
    Splash of vanilla extract

For the maple glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  1. Preheat oven to 375F & lightly grease pan if needed.
  2. Prepare the egg replacer and set aside to thicken.
  3. In a large bowl whisk your dry ingredients together.
  4. In a separate bowl whisk together the wet ingredients + your egg replacer.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients & mix well!
  6. Using a piping bag or Ziploc bag, pipe the mix into the pan.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes!
  8. Remove from pan onto cooling rack and mix your glaze.
  9. Drizzle onto donuts & ENJOY!
