Watermelon Basil Juleps

Your new favorite drink recipe!

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend, friends! Since the weather has been extremely beautiful ALL week, I thought I would share this super refreshing drink recipe made with real and fresh ingredients! I originally came up with this drink last weekend (inspired by all the Kentucky Derby mint juleps) and it was sooo delicious I have an itch to make them again! So here’s to hoping that the weather this weekend is just as nice, and I hope you all enjoy!

This is not a WANT, it’s a NEED!

If you can’t tell already, this is indeed an ALCOHOLIC beverage, so enjoy responsibly! If you are not of age and would like to enjoy this drink, I would recommend using a watermelon (or similar flavor) kombucha and following the same recipe!

What you will need:

  • 1 shot of Summer Watermelon Ciroc
  • Handful of fresh basil (dry can work too but fresh is preferred)
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • Tonic water, club soda, or whatever kind of sparkling beverage you prefer
  • 1 cube of fresh watermelon for garnish

  1. In a glass place a few basil leaves and use a muddler to smash the leaves in order to release the flavors so they bind better with your alcohol.
  2. Fill a glass up with ice, and pour in your vodka.
  3. Top off with sparkling beverage of your choice.
  4. MIX & ENJOY!

Thanks for reading! I hope you all enjoy this recipe. If you give it a try, make sure you leave some comments below and make sure to tag me on all social medias @eatnaturalwithnat
